Heading 0302 covers fish that are fresh or chilled, whole or in a form that is not a fillet or other fish meat. It is split first by species group (salmon, flat fish, tunas, herring and mackerel group, cod family, tilapia and catfish group, other fish) and then, in several groups, by whether the fish is scaled and packed in immediate containers of 6.8 kg or less, which carries a 3% general (MFN) rate. Most other lines are duty free, with a few exceptions such as sole and sturgeon roe.
