Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Nexon Technologies, Inc. collects when you use HTSBase, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a salted hash of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Product data: product descriptions, uploaded catalogs and the classifications we return, so you can see them in your library.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and a customer ID; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: the number of classifications per day and, for visitors without an account, the IP address used to apply daily limits.
- Site analytics: pages viewed, the referring website, campaign tags and device type. Visitors are counted with a one-way hash that changes every day. We do not store IP addresses or browser details for analytics, do not use cookies for it and do not share it with analytics companies.
How we use it
- to provide classifications, duty estimates, alerts and your account;
- to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse;
- to send service emails such as password resets and tariff change alerts.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:
- AI model providers (DeepSeek and/or Anthropic), which receive product descriptions to generate classifications;
- Stripe, for payments;
- our hosting, database and email delivery providers.
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and China. Do not submit confidential information you are not permitted to share with such providers.
Retention
We keep account and library data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your profile, library and API keys immediately and remove backups within 30 days. Billing records are kept by Stripe as required by law.
Your rights
You can access, export (CSV from your library) and delete your data from the account page. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, such as correction or objection. Contact us to exercise them.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions and API keys are stored only as SHA-256 hashes, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.
